English Cheddar Burgers

Ingredients:

  1. 1 cup shredded sharp yellow Cheddar cheese (4 ozs. )
  2. 2 tablespoons minced fresh onion
  3. 1 medium clove garlic, crushed
  4. 2 tablespoons Steak Sauce
  5. 6 English muffins, fork split, toasted and buttered
  6. BASIC A.1. HAMBURGERS
  7. 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
  8. 1 1/2 teaspoons salt (optional)
  9. 1/4 cup A.1. Steak Sauce
Directions:

Prepare Basic A.1. Hamburgers: In medium bowl, lightly combine all ingredients. Form 6 patties to fit bread shape of your choice. Broil, barbecue or pan fry until cooked as desired. Combine cheese, onion, garlic and A.1. Spread 2 tablespoons over each cooked hamburger patty. Broil to melt cheese. Serve on muffins.
